A little question: is vray compatible with discreet's particle flow extension for max5?

    Should be!
I encountered some problems with Motion Blur, but have to check this again with the released Version.

yea, works fine so far, the only issue i've had is motion blur also.. it works fine, unless you chcek the "Blur particles as mesh" thing

Haven't had much time to play with it personally, and have very very little experience with particles to begin with, but..

My take is that it is a very useful tool.. I approach it as a darktree editor for particles and find the whole flowchart scheme to be very intuitive.. If you haven't yet, check out the videos! (Can post a link tommorrow..)

Particle Flow is almost like Maya's Particles. Only: You can get it without scripting. I love it!
But, it's Version 1. So there much tools and scripts to come.
I think we will see a really great future for particles in Max.
