@Jynks: "Nodejoe costs more than Zbrush"

... were do you buy such a cheap ZBrush? ZooKeeper also brings Nodes to whole Max, something very powerful for all sorts of 3d work!

I also posted this on cgtalk, I guess that autodesk will implement a more advanced version of nodejoe handling more features than shaders

What did you post on CGTalk ? The guess ?

The sad thing with NodeJoe is that since its an AD certified plugin distributed by TurboSquid support is not what it has been.
The sad thing with Zookeeper is, that thanks to all the guesses and rumors nobody is going to invest in any node based plugin, waiting for something to be integrated into Max.

Years a lot of people have been begging for node based editing and now that there are 2 beautiful plugins suddenly "nobody" is interested anymore. I really wonder how 3rd party developers can survive

I can't speak for node based editing for scenes etc, but for building complex materials it is significantly faster and easier to keep track of what is going on when you can layout the whole material on a page. You may just need to try it to get a real sense of it, but NJ speeds up my material work immensely.

If people are going to hold off investing in something because of a possible future Max release that is at best 2 years away, then good for them, but if you're looking for awesome node-based control in the meantime, ZooKeeper is the way to go!

Aside from the product itself, the support is excellent.
