Hi Everyone,
Camera setup has always been difficult for me.
As, you can fit the same image, in the same render window, with totally different settings.
HOWEVER, the final results can be quite different.
Is there any rule to follow for:
Target distance, focal length, film gate and zoom factor settings?
Attached are two WIP renders (no need to comment of the character etc..).
lm-c2b
--------
film gate: 36mm
focal length: 483.6mm
zoom factor: 1
target distance 803.79cm
lm-c2
------
film gate: 36mm
focal length: 65mm
zoom factor: 1
target distance 111.87cm
As you can see, both of my renders are the portrait shot I am after, but they are 'distorted' differently.
What is the rule for un-distorted, 'real life' settings?
Thanks,
Adam
