  • Pre-pass & Rendering over a Network

    With 1.50 SP4a can we render the Animation Pre-pass over a network or does it have to be done on one machine ?

    "Animation prepass" is waht you looking for - set in the vray IRR setting and save path
    it will render one GI file per frame per PC
    "animation render" will use that maps for render then

    that mode is used for animated non static scenes

    a camerafly IRR map you can render on one PC only or using DR

      I don't understand what you mean...can we render the Animation Pre-pass over a DR or does it have to be done on only one machine ?
      I have a animation to render and the prepass take so much time to render...
