  • Opacity map, and refraction VrayMap

    hello everybody,

I'd like to make a SSS of trees and leaves. well, only the leaves actually.
But I'm stuck on the opacity map of the leaves. as soon as apply refraction, I loose the opacity map control, and all the leaves render as pure plane geometry (black geometry).

    what am I missing ?
Should I model the leaves ?

    cheers,
    Alex.

sounds like a DNS error on your side then, you should try to contact your ISP about the problem.

You can also try to add the IP to the HOSTS file in windows.

In win2000 the file is here:
            C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (no file extension)

open it in notepad and add the following lines after the localhost line:

            63.99.224.11 vray.info
            63.99.224.11 www.vray.info
