  • Vue 8 with DR ?

    Hi there,
I was wondering if Vue 8 was working with the DR ?
It work in local and with backburner, but not with DR.

    Max 2008 64 Bit - Vray 1.50 SP3a

Have to go on to max 2010 and SP4a ?

    Thanks

No problems here, works with DR like a charm on MAX 2009 and Vray SP4a. Just make sure you installing xStream plugins RenderNodes on you DR nodes.

hey, thanks for your response, work like a charm now that I have try in max2010 with sp4a!

      I had another question,
Is it possible that my objects are rendered in color space gama 1 and that vue does it in 2.2?
Because when I'm putting vray in 2.2 and linear workflow, vue render is completely washed out, like if it was rendered at 4.4...
But when I put vray in gamma 1, my objects are to dark, like there are rendered in 1 and vue is fine as if it was rendered in 2.2.
Is there a way to say to vue to render in 1 or if they think 2.2 is 1 to say that it would render in 0.4545 and so when I would set vray to 2.2, all would be matching...

does this problem looks familiar to anybody ?

      Thanks

Yep, select Vue camera in scene, go for edit object , click to activate post processing and set gamma correction to 0.4545.
        Best regards,

          Thanks Fekta.studio !
I was searching that trick in max because i'm using VRayPhysicalCamera.
I was also searching how I can render a object with a black background? Like always, render separate objects on black background and composite the together...
I can't find the way in max to render a object with Vue environment and a black background. Am I obliged to pass true a HDRI ? That would not be cool.
Because render all in one file and use MultiMate to composite isn't the best way to composite...

          Any ideas?

          Thanks!
