  • Multi/Sub-Object Output

    Hello-

Is there a way to apply an output map for a multi/Sub-Object material? I have a car with 23 materials. I want to darken all the materials, but I don't want to do them one at a time. I would like to wrap the multi material into an output map, but I can't .

    Thanks

You might be able to do this with a VRayBlendMtl material where the base material is the multi/sub-object material, and the coat material is perfectly black. Then you can use the blend amount to determine how dark you want the materials to be. However keep in mind that this will also darken the reflections and hilights.
