unable to animate color on a Vray ies

I have a RGB led ies light that I'd like to animate the color. But it does not animate
Am I doing something wrong?

Hm, it looks like the color is not animatable at present. However, the color temperature and the intensity can be animated. I've made a note to correct this.

I guess a work around for this could be to create 3 ies lights, almost touching, one 100% red, one green and one blue and animate just the power of each to get the desired colour, similar to how it works in the real world.

Well, you can also put a transparent filter surface in front of the light
