  • Bad edges on vector displaced geometry?!

    Hello.

    Is there any way to avoid this noise on the surface edges?
    Must I use closed geometry with vector displace?

    Does it go away if you turn off tiling for your map, or switch to mirror tiling? The artifacts usually happen when the texture is wrapped around.

      Sorry...I guess it had to do with map filtering.
      I must always use it either in the map itsel and the VRayDisplacementMod
      Should it be this way? There is no possible abrupt transition in tiling and it only happens in edges, not in transitions in the middle of the geometry
