Vray Free-is it still available ?

Apologies for posting this here as i've posted it in the Free-Vray forum too, but no replies as yet.....

I'm doing some teaching at my local college on 3ds Max (version 9). As a seasoned Vray user I wanted to get Vray running on the PC's here, is there is still a free version that the students can use ? I remember the free version that didn't watermark images but was a bit limited from years ago, is there still a version like this available for download ?

I don't have my Username and password with me, so I can't log-in to the download area to look myself till I get back in front of my PC...

Well, no response as yet. Have I asked a stupid question here ? If so what's the way for students to get to use vray these days, if any ?

I see some demo's in the download area for 1.50SP2 for max 90, 2008 & 2009

Maybe try emailing support the question about the availability of the old free version.
