  • RT separate license to Vray?

I was looking into getting another worker, but I want them to be able to setup the full scene with RT, and then render what they produce here with the real vray.

However is RT stand alone and does not require vray? (The worker's machine is not networked besides the internet to here at all)

Yep, the licenses for V-Ray RT and V-Ray are separate; the RT will work even if you don't have a V-Ray license available.

Will the max view ports render the vray cameras and textures correctly with only RT licsense? Currently with no vray installed the entire scene is black.

You need to have V-Ray installed, so that all the plugins can be loaded successfully (the VRayMtl, the VRayPhysicalCamera etc). However it is not required that there is a license for V-Ray itself; only for the RT.
