Is there a good solution for simulating stained glass (church) with Vray.
I know that it does caustics very well - at a cost of course. Should I use
projection maps in my lights? If so, how do I create the effect of natural
sunlight coming through the stained glass. Thanks in advance.

A quick and dirty solution would be to use VrayMats, coloured Refraction and check the affect shadows checkbox. That will let coloured shadows in.

I was able to get some decent results by placing a bitmap image in the refraction slot of a Vray material. Will try to upload image.
