  • How excluding an object

My problem is that i can't find or i don't know where i can exclude an object in vray from its calculation.

I think you will need to render without the object, then save the irradiance map, set it to load and render again with the object.

I think that it's not the solution because i cant get de shadows from the object in the scenne and if there are objects in front or in back of the object i will have a big problem.

The solution is not include the object in the global ilumination solution. Work fine in max and other render engines, but i cant get it in vray.

I have test several render engines and i prefer vray but if i cant do that i think that i will buy other solt, and i should not like to do that.

      Thank you

if you want to exclude an object from the Irradiance map then System>Object settings and click off Receive/generate GI or the Mat'l wrapper does the same.
