    if I set Vray raw image to .exr - what storage type it is ? Tiles or scanline ?

    From my limited understanding, it is set to Tiles since it is saving the image as it renders.

    I typically render to VRImgs and then convert to EXRs with the script, that way I can get scanline exrs.

    Someone else have any info?

      thats the way I do too but direct exr render is more faster for my workflow

      sadly do my post programm understand exr scanline formats only so maybe a secret script cmd existe to switch it during render ?

        I think you can resave your tile based exr's to scanline exr's with nuke
