Try renaming your maxstart.max file in the Scenes folder to something else. That should make max start up with the default empty scene.

I have had the same problem with another website that had some digital fusion dvds for sale...

I agree with a few things which people said - maybe a switch back to vray material would be nice - but not that important.

I know everyone is gonna shout at me BUT nobody has made a convincing blood material...not that i've seen at least.

error in mat selection

I get this error popup when i choose the carpaint and light mats in your beta.

If i select retry it crashes max, if I select continue it locks max down.

I cannot get into vray.info! It's really frustrating. Is there an alternative site?

actually the problem with carpaint is with max4.2 not the version of vray. i used to get that problem with that version of max. but it works in max5 and up
