  • openEXR and AE CS4

I have my elements correctly in a EXR file, imported into AfterEffects CS4. All of the elements are loaded in comps via the 'Create ProEXR Layer Comps'. Now what? How do I add depth of field?

you would probably require an ae plugin that does dof. But this is more of an after effects type of question then a vray one. I'd suggest doing some googling.

Just in case anyone else would like to know. I found a plug that allows me to adjust the DOF based off of an EXR's Z channel. This is the only way I've found that will work. It's called Lenscare and it works like a charm with Vray EXR's. Plus, it's MUCH faster than doing it with VRay alone.
