Is it possible to change the location of the vrlclient.xml?

By default it is in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\vrlclient.xml. I am interested in moving it out of the Common Files directory, but I don't know if that is possible.

You can use the environment variable VRAY_AUTH_CLIENT_FILE_PATH to specify an alternative location for the file.

Got busy with other items before I could get back to fixing issues on my render farm....

Do I add this to the dialog box shown in my attachment? Do I simply add a line under System Variables, and then add the path under Value?

Yes, just add it to the system variables with the path under value (don't include any quotation marks in the path). After this, you may need to restart the license server.

Ahhh... I got it. I was not understanding because I was trying to do this on the slave machines. I need to do this to the head machine that contains the license file.

Er, no - you need to do this on the slave machines - they are the ones looking for the vrlclient.xml file.
