Etched Glass - any ideas

Any good ideas for an etched glass material? I' not too worried about 'physically perfect' refractions, just the idea of a semi-transparent glass finnish. I am unsure whether to go down the fog route, the diffuse colour route or the translucent route (or a combination of all three!).

Anyone done this b4?

I use to do this with simple glossi refraction on one of the side of glass on the other part I use a a simple glass material.

Resume Multi-submaterial with two glasses:

1- ID=1 Diffuse black, refract white, reflect white, fresnel and some fog to tint the glass.

2- ID=2 The same settings but with interpolated glossi refractions (Glossi 0.1)
