  • Vray light creating occlusion

I do my occlusion passes by using the vrayExtrtaTex with the vraydirt texture as a render elements. My problem is that vray lights are creating occlusion like if they were objects. for example a spherical vray light act as a sphere in the occlusion pass. In the vray dirt exclusion list we can't select light.... so there is no way to prevent them to influence occlusion.

the only way is to render the same scene 2 times, one with light on and one with light hidden...

Is there a way to preven vray lights from influencing occlusion?

Yes; there are two things to it:

    1) Make the light invisible and
    2) Turn on the "Work with transparency" option for VRayDirt.
