spawning with xrefs creating black buckets again

switched to 2011/sp5, again getting black buckets when spawning with xrefs. mesh and maps on the same network drive, all paths unc ..... any suggestions?

Is the slave machine able to see the X-Ref'd scene?

If its anything like Max 2009, try copting the camera and render that one instead.
