Renderfarm mixing opterons with xeons

I know is the past this wasnt recommended, looking at the new opterons 6168.

Would these play nicely with my xeons with DR and RT. Would I get different lighting calucaltions or is this differnce very minimal

I have a opteron/xeons mix here, and it runs ok. ( of course not the new processors, some older stuff, but it works)
