I have all but given up on trying to control color between all of my applications. Photoshop is my only color control reference for any piece of data that I touch. I do use the sampler in the VrayVFB if I am adjusting lighting. I use it on a neutral grey override material and adjust the white balance in the VRayPhysicalCamera to get my target exposure area as neutral as possible. This way I know that if my textures looked good when I made/adjusted them in Photoshop, there will not be any major suprises when I get the finished render back into Photoshop for final composition.
