  • VRAY LT - thoughts

I'm thinking about purchasing the VRAY LT so I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts to share about it......is it working well? Helping to speed up work flow? Is it limited in any important way? If the render farm is working on another project can those same computers contribute to VRAY LT...or will this slow things up? Thanks for any input!

my thoughts are it is priceless, but I am hoping it makes it into the next full release of V-Ray. I know the one that just came with MAX 2010 isn't as robust, but it is wrapped up in bundle.

Now that RT supports VRay Proxies and particle systems it's a must-have purchase. It pays for itself pretty damn fast.

I know it makes zero financial sense for Chaos Group, but they should just roll it into the regular version of VRay - every renderer is heading in the real-time direction, and VRay could get itself a nice head-start on the competition. Of course this would lose them lots of money in the short term!

They can roll it into a bundle and charge more for v-ray.
