Hello,
A quick question. I'm trying to use Vray shadow matte properties with transparent textures.
It seems that by switching the the vray shadow matte properties in an object, the transparency map is partly ignored. In a normal render I see the teapot shadow cast through the checker opacity map onto the floor. However when using the vray shadow matte property and rendering the shadow doesn't pass through.
I've attached a render to show what I mean .. anyone have any work arounds for this ?.
I've tried using the Vray Wrapper shader instead of setting the objects' Vray properties but with no luck.
Using Vray sp4 and Max2010

cheers
