I have a question about using Lightchache for glossy reflections. Does it speed up the actual render time frame to frame, or just the time it takes to calculate the GI solutions on individual frames?

Im pretty sure it speeds up the actual rendering since the glossys are already calculated.... the lightcache calculation on the other hand takes a bit longer... at least thats the way I think it works but I havent done any tests...

it does, yes. even though I find the quality being generally poor when light cache takes care of glossy reflections. it's a trade off, of course, but I suggest you to run a couple of tests and see if the speed increase (massive in some cases) it's worth it.
