Object inside glass retaining its colour whilst fog is used ?? HOW ?

Hi guys,

How would I retain the colour of an object inside a glass ball (with thickness) that has fog applied to it ? If say the glass ball fog colour was green and the object inside was yellow. How would I keep the object inside yellow but everything else around the object green ?

Perhaps creating 2 separate objects.

Thanks. I ended up using vray env fog..worked pretty well.
