  • Evermotion Cars

    Hi,

I'm after one or two cars and the Evermotion ones look pretty good - espacially at 50 Euros each.

I was wondering if anyone has used these recently, and more importantly are the ok "out of the box" or do the need work? Also would you proxy just one car in a scene - never used them to date.

    Thanks in advance.

    yeah they are good.
The materials are mostly ok, but there might be a couple you need to change.
Also they have just evermotion signage on the number plates

Some of them have raytrace materials so make sure you clean those up before you merge them into your scenes.

I'd give 30 mins to an hour or so for cleaning materials up/putting nicer paint on - other than that they're good.

There were a bunch that shipped with MAX 2011 as well.

Licensed to use, or supplied as samples/proportionals? ...I only ask because we do corporate installs of Max, and the IT department setting them up tend not to look for other info on the DVD's, they just extract the installs to push out to the machines.

they look good, I've never had problems with the much less expensive axyz, especially for instant scene use, no edits at all, ready to convert to Vrayproxy...
