    What is "ViewportManager.gup" When I load material Editor it says I'm missing it. Only found a few topics on web about it.

    Missing DLL
    Viewport Manager for DirectX

    You get that error when you try to open a max5 file in 4 or less

      Yes, Discreet HAD to make sure we would HAVE to upgrade
      It would just be too easy if it was backward compatible like it should be.

        yeah it's just a big conspiracy... lol, why don't they work with 3ds too?
