Vray 2.0 Release Date?

I have seached and seached the forums and haven't come up with anything apart from "soon".
Vlado, can you give any sort of guess as to when this will be released.

No, unfortunately there is no fixed release date for V-Ray 2.0 yet.

If I buy a new 1.5 license now, will I get 2.0 free because it is "coming soon"? Need to get 2 new licenses and boss will not be impressed if in 2 or 3 months we have to pay again for licenses.

There will certainly be a period of time before the 2.0 release where if you bought 1.5, you will get 2.0 for free; but even outside of that period, you will only have to pay for the upgrades, not full licenses.

No way can I afford to go to Siggraph, so what is in store.
Funny I always thought we might be given something as we are the users, and have to wait like everybody else for the big Show......

Thanks Yoda...................................a virtue I don't have I am afraid.
I am sure it will be worth the wait but will it mean investing in more than an upgrade of Vray or is there an additional spend required to use the new updates?
