Translucent not working?

I remember something about unchecking double sided in the material. Don't know if this is really needed, or if it was only needed in the older versions.

uh, very difficult

indeed, it is very difficult to ger trans-material looking good in a fill sceene or the animation. Playing with wax-teapot on the checker-board is one thing, but I still rember last week where I wanted to produce muddy water in a basment scene, ... I think I spent too over 3 hours and throw it at the end away.. .

even some minimal setting can completely change the look of the material... it is very "sensible"
