Would be great to see raytracing in Nuke using vray
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

The guys at jupiter jazz said that might eventually happen. Not for a 1.0 release of Atomkraft, but eventually later on when there is enough interest. For starters it'll be 3Delight

        What about "stochastic pruning"?

        Some time ago Vlado said:
It is, and we are working on this, although with a somewhat different approach

        Best regards,

We did not show this, but it is worked on. Though, like I said before, we are not using the stochastic pruning as such.

          Best regards,
          Vlado

VRayRT is based around OpenCL, therefore it will work with either ATi or nVidia. So you will be good to go!

While this will be hopefully true at some point in the future, right now we do not have the RT working on ATI hardware because of the poor OpenCL support.

                            Best regards,
                            Vlado

DOH! Thanks for the clarification! I had assumed that it did work from the demo @ the user's event. I can't remember if you actually discussed if it was working on ATi or not. I do remember the OpenCL stuff.

                              Thanks again for the clarification!

I prefer ATI card than Nvidia, but there is no choice but to do.
Anyway, though it's early to say that, do you have any plan to show it in Siggraph Asia 2010? It's held on my city.
