Someone wrote a material converter for vray which translated back and forth between the Vray Material and Raytraced materials. It was a good start, but it didn't work all of the time.
Has someone developed a tool for this?
Personally, I think it should be built in to vray -- it is very time consuming to use old models (much less entire scenes) when a good number of their materials have to be converted by hand.
Alternatively, vray could support raytraced materials, but I imagine that would be more difficult and somewhat counterproductive.
Please -- either vray software writers -- or vray power uses who are scripters -- give us a conversion tool that is easy to use and reliable.
