  • Missing maps on client when using DR

    Hi,

I have two machines running Vray advanced 1.0903g.
One is running as server and client and the other one is just a client.

I have a scene that I wish to render using the DR. All materials has been setup using UNC - so they should (and do) work over the network.

The problem is - I can render the image running max from the client NOT using DR and get a correct image WITH the map, but when i render the image from the server using DR and both machines I only get mapping on the server buckets.

    Any ´s are very welcome.

    razz,
maybe late ... well you can use maxs' network rendering and check INCLUDE MAPS in network render dialog.

I have had the same exact problem for the last few vray versions. UNC paths are working fine. Once in a great great while I'll get a full imge.

Tom4ski-Include map is a feature of Backburner (max's network rendering). Are you saying you are using backburner and render to VRAY DR? I never considered this an option for stills.
