  • controlling caustics from Vraylight material

I was going crazy trying to figure out where some really noisy photon mapped caustics were coming from and then realized they were coming from a VraylightMaterial on a plane, set to include direct light. It's great that the mat can generate caustics, but they seem pretty low quality and there don't appear to be any controls for the caustics for those materials - how can I improve them, or at least disable them? Turning off "generate caustics" for the poly plane did not help.

GI caustics are off - it's only p-mapped that are in play.

    Thanks /b

Hm, good question Might be better to use a mesh light for now in this case. I've made a note to add some options for this.

    Best regards,
