  • Affect Alpha in a blend material not working?

    Hi,

    Did anyone tried to make affect alpha for refraction to work when the refractive material is part of a blend material?

    It's not working here.

    I have a thin volume with a blend material in which glass is on top, a standard vray material is second and a mask in the mask slot. I can't make the affect alpha to work for the glass.

    I can confirm this, have been struggling with a non working alpha channel for a long time. Thanks for pointing out it's the blend material indeed.

    Max depth is high enough, affect Color+Alpha channel chosen, etc.
    Experimented with MtlWrapper with the Blend included and a MtlWrapper on top of the submaterials, but nothing works. The VrayObjectProperty setting for affecting alpha is ignored as well.

    Hope this bug can be fixed soon!
