vray 2.0 glossy reflection

has there been any changes in the glossy reflection quality between 1.5 and 2.0 ? Seems more grainy as before...

Nope; no changes whatsoever, except the addition of the "Fix dark edges" option which is off by default.

on that note, what does environment priority value do?

It determines what happens when several materials override the environment texture, and they reflect/refract in each other.
