Problem with Vray_materials.mat

Hi , I'm Giovi .
I would like to know why when I copy "Vray_materials.mat"
Into matlibs folder , and I open from material library These
Vray materials I take always an error .
This error close the application too.
Can someone help me ?
I've Max 5.0 and Vray 1.09.02 and I'm new user.

Certainly because this matlib was saved with a later version of Vray (such as 1.09.03g).

Some new features into the vray material aren't present in your version.
My 2 cents.
