I was surprised and happy to find out that the Clu character was rendered using Vray, Vlado were you aware of this? I have to admit that I'm not aware of which movies use Vray this was the first where I have seen a reference to the software but I know there must be others. I wonder if these studios use the same versions of the program that we do or if there is a special build made for them. If anyone knows about any behind the scenes information regarding Vray's use in this film please share it. Here's the article where I read about Vray.

We don't have special builds; usually any requested features end up in the regular nightly builds. We did have to code some features specifically requested by DD, but all of these are available sooner or later to all V-Ray users.
