  • Anisotropic reflection problem

Hi there! Recently we upgraded our W2K machines to SP4 (I wished we did not) and now I have a problem with VRay. I assign a VRayMtl to BOX object, gave it a reflection color (light gray), Glossiness is less than 1, shader type is Phong, Anisotropy is 0.4 (can be any number except 0.0) and under Anisotropy the UV vectors derivation is set to Z. When I render the sides of the box reflect but the top is black. If I change the shader type to Blinn or Ward all the sides reflect. Also if I change UV vectors to X or Y rendering is OK as well.
So I'd like to find out if this is VRay's bug or W2K SP4 fault.
The version of VRay we use at the company is VRayAdv 1.09.03g on dual Athlon MP 2400+. I remember there was a bug with glossy reflections in early 03a-c versions.
Can someone tell if this problem exists with W2K SP2 or 3?
    Thanks in advance.

That thread should answer your question.
