  • Displacement single-threaded-issue improved for 2.0?

    There is this issue with VRay 1.5 that when VRay displacement is calculating a rather difficult displacement map in high resolution it would stuck for loooong times on presampling displacement and only one core of a CPU would be working. One time there was a lot of topics in the Problems section about it. Has it been fixed already for 2.0 or is the displacement "calculator" still single threaded?

    For the initial 2.0 builds, it is still single threaded. However the multi-threaded code is ready and will be included in the first update (which should be sometime soon).
