  • Vray map for super hi res image

I was wondering what would be recommended settings fro image to be rendered at 4000x4000. From other projects seems like people were using half resolution to render the GI map and then render the final images from that. But this is resulting in extremely long times ( 8 hours+) for the final image (there is a lot fo glass and reflection in the scene.

Also, no matter what setting I was using, I have hard time to get rid of this artifact on the column. Any suggestons?

The "Smoth surfaces shadows" option is on the Vray light properties.

Hmm, I have used Viz sun with Vray shadows for that light. Since it allows me to esily set up time and day per Client's request. I will see if it has anything similar to the smooth shadow option.
