  • Question with output Z-depth G-buffer in EXR

    Hi guys,

    I have a question with EXR output with Z-Depth pass.
    When I used V-Ray FB, set the "Save separate render channels" ON, and then added Z Depth G-Buffer in EXR setting, I couldn't see Z Depth using EXtractoR in AE. But I could see it in AE when rendered from Max built-in output with the same EXR setting. I'm sort of confused what's going on with it? Hope you guys could give me a hint! Thanks!

    You need to add a VRayZDepth render element; the G-Buffer option will not do anything when used with the V-Ray VFB.
