  • Bake3D and DarkTree

    i have a SimbiontMax material assigned to a character and when i tried to use Bake3D and click on 'Render Texmap', i can't seem to select my SimbiontMax material. and it doesn't show up in the map browser? hmm, weird.

    has anyone else come across with this problem?

    yes I have it too. It is pity it doesn't work.

    there is an awful work-around. Separate all Darktrees into chanells and load them into Max-Slots. VRay can see the Slot but unfortunately not DT Shader. But it is terrible time-wasting...

      It's because "render texture" only sees textures, not materials. You need to use the lightmap option to bake materials.
