  • Possible to have shadows cast upon a transparent object?

Hi all, long time, no posty! Just had a quick question that I had wanted to bounce off you guys. I was wondering if there was any way to have shadows cast upon a transparent glass object. For example, in my scene I have an canopy overhang, and the sun casts shadows along the wall beneath it, but where there are curtain wall sections there are shadows on the frame, but none on the glass portion. I am guessing that this is because I have my material set up as almost completely white in the refraction slot. Is there any way besides increasing the opacity of my glass material to get some shadows from the canopy shown on the glass portions of the curtain wall underneath the canopy? Any way to even trick Vray into dimming the reflections on the glazed areas affected by the shade?

Thanks in advance for any advice, tis much appreciated.
