There's normally a few test builds that get made to fix either a specific issue or one that goes out to regular vray testers - they get hammered by the testers for a while to see if they find anything wrong with the build then it gets released to everyone. There's loads of builds flying around that could completely wreck scenes that you're working on so you're often better off not having any builds that don't get released to everyone
