  • Very heavy maps trouble!

I made a scene of a stand, with a grey environment, spot light, some blurry reflections (not interpolated) and I used global illumination.
All worked well until when I got the image above:

    Also without maps...

I use the 'f' version of Vray... do I mistake something???

Check Crop in the Material editor.... and it should disappear.

      Joao.

could it be trying to use an old irrad. map where the geometry or lighting doesn't match up?

i've had that happen when i have changed some geometry or light settings, then forgot the set the irrad. map to be recalculated.

RErender has created a great script to go through your scene and checking the apply box in all bitmaps.

          Get it here: http://www.varcht.com/tools.htm

            Thank-you all...

All maps where cropped... maybe the raytrace map with falloff on the ground.
I solved the problem hiding one single object (not the ground) and rendering it alone, compositing them in photoshop...
            (strange...)
