Vray for Maya

Anybody have any idea what is up with the Vray for Maya??? Seems like I have been waiting forever. I'm dying to know if it will ever happen or if it is just a rumor.

People already spoke about it on the forum...
Nothing is sure indeed...No date...
It seems that Vray will work as a standalone software in order to be used
by varius 3D Programs like Maya.
We have to wait for the end of the Siggraph to know something more
official.
