backburner max task is opening but not starting and gets timeout

hi

have a problem here with 2 machines since some projects in maxdesign2011 ... they get the job over backburner...you see the task in the taskbar but it doesn´t open to render...after sometime you get the timeout error...BUT...

...!!! if you click manually on the taskbutton in the bar it opens and starts rendering!!!...

any solution idea??

I'd try to render the scene directly in each of those machines. If max isn't starting, then I'd think the problem is local and not backburner.

hey...big thanks for response... think i´m the only one with this problem...

...so the both machines are workstations that have the problems in the night while they render over backburner...

as said the task is loading and keeps hanging in the taskbar...if you tip manually at it, it starts...quite crazy...

if anyone is interested in the future...

it was a problem of the energy-options...advanced options...something here in, my co-worker does not exactly remember what...but this was the problem for both machines
