  • blurry reflection calculation depth

    until what depth does vray calculate the blurry reflection effect?
    lets say i want a reflection depth of 5, but just the first reflection blurred to increase rendering speed.

    Off topic to what your asking, but did you chamfer and smooth your tight corners..they look nice

        if you are using heavily blurred reflections there is not a lot of point having a depth of five, one or at most two would be sufficient i would think... after all if your reflections are that blurred, youd be able to make out the object reflected, but would u notice whether the reflected, blurred object had reflections on or not?

            super gnu: a depth of five is just an example. i used a depth of 3, but i want to turn off the blurring for the 2nd and 3rd reflection.
