  • Dual GTX-590's in a Dell T7500 and Vray RT

    We installed Dual GTX-590's (4 GPU's)
First off, vRayRT is Crazy fast, nothing short of amazing.....
But.. we can't seem to only use one card, it always uses all the GPU's.

I think you have to choose which device to use in the "device selector" menu (start menu - RT section).

    Cheers,

David, is there anti-aliasing on these cards? I'm choosing between getting one of these and the ATI FirePro VX7800, which supposedly have better drivers and 3D display, but I've never seen the difference myself. Also, it is only 1.5GB per GPU, right?

This is the error we get when trying to change the number of GPU's.

I havent played with it enough to give you a straight answer (regarding anti aliasing), but the Vray RT renders look really really good.

If you have UAC enabled, you might need to run the OpenCL device selector with administrative privileges (right-click > Run as Administrator...)

          Best regards,

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Vlado, yes that was it. I set it to always run as an administrator..
            Thanks!
